Turtle Animation Test

This is the first animation test for my next project. In this shot, all the water is drawn animation (yes, Ive seen ponyo a million times and I am still in awe of the techniques). The turtle is a mix of computer animation, and animated textures made from water color paintings. This shot was really an experiment to see how all the elements might come together. The techniques still have a way to go, but its exciting to see things starting to work.

Comments are welcome about anything, it would be great to have some feedback (both positive and critical).

    Hey Eric, I love it ! Good work on the turtle’s movement! The water color texture is beautiful ! I want to know how you did this.
